Homestay Program A Unique Volunteer Experience

At Woeychisu, we offer a Homestay Program designed to provide volunteers with an immersive experience while contributing to our mission of supporting women, youth, and children. This program allows volunteers to engage with the local community, participate in our initiatives, and enjoy an authentic Tanzanian cultural exchange.

We offer a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment:

Shared Dormitory or Private Room – Depending on availability
Furnished Space – Beds with mosquito nets for a restful sleep.
Bathroom Access – Private or shared bathrooms with essential amenities.
Electricity & Clean Water – Reliable access to power and safe drinking water.

Working Hours

Volunteers work five days a week (Monday to Friday) for two hours per day at our center.
This schedule allows time for meaningful engagement while also providing flexibility for personal exploration and relaxation.

Languages Spoken

We communicate in both English and Swahili, ensuring smooth interactions with volunteers from different backgrounds.

Help Provide Health Insurance & Education for Children

At Woeychisu, we are committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality healthcare and education, regardless of their financial situation. Through our support programs, we aim to provide health insurance and education sponsorships to underprivileged children, giving them the foundation they need for a better future

Health Insurance Support – $500 per Child/Year

Healthcare is a basic right, yet many children in our community lack access to proper medical services. With just $500 per year, you can sponsor a child’s health insurance under NHIF (National Health Insurance Fund), covering:

Medical Check-ups – Ensuring regular health assessments.
Hospitalization & Treatments – Covering medical bills in case of illness or emergencies
Medications & Prescriptions – Providing essential medicines for children in need.
Preventive Care – Vaccinations, maternal care, and general well-being support

Education Support – $450 per Child/Year

Every child deserves the chance to learn and build a brighter future. With a donation of $450 per year, you can sponsor a child’s education, which includes:

School Fees & Tuition – Covering primary or nursery school education.
School Supplies – Books, uniforms, stationery, and learning materials
Safe Learning Environment – Supporting access to quality teachers and education facilities
Mentorship & Development – Helping children grow academically and socially.

Raising Funds for DakiVision Kindergarten and Pre School Plot Construction

Fundraising for DakiVision Kindergarten & Pre School Land

Woeychisu aims to raise $10,000 to purchase land for a Daki Vision Kindergarten and Pre school. This will provide a permanent space for quality education and a safe learning environment. In the first year, we focus on securing funds and acquiring land, ensuring a solid foundation for future development.

Fundraising for DakiVision Kindergarten Construction

After securing land, we plan to raise the amount for over two years to build a kindergarten with 8 classrooms and staff offices. Year 2 will focus on laying foundations and structural work, while Year 3 will complete construction and furnishing. Your support will help provide children with a nurturing and well-equipped learning space.
